Experience you can count on
I've been helping clients navigate Medicare since 2016, and I meet with each of them every year to review their coverage. As President-Elect of the NABIP (National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals) West Virginia Chapter, I'm committed to helping clients — and my fellow agents — find the Medicare and health insurance policies best suited to their needs.
In 2023 I became a Registered Social Security Analyst (RSSA), so I can also help with decisions around Social Security and retirement income — because those choices are often connected. My clients often say my "superpower" is simplifying the process and quickly spotting the best-fit plan for their needs, budget, and prescriptions.
Avoiding the "6 Medicare Alligators"
Medicare is full of hidden traps. I call them the six Medicare Alligators, and part of my job is helping you avoid every one:
- Choosing the wrong plan and getting stuck for a year
- Facing unexpected medical bills when you get sick or need surgery
- Being on your own with no help when something goes wrong
- Missing deadlines that cause penalties or gaps in coverage
- Losing your doctor or medication coverage without warning
- Being pressured or sold something you don't need
I work with all the major carriers, which means I represent you — not the insurance companies.
Local, accessible, and here for you
We can meet virtually or in person at one of my Liberty Tax offices in Winchester, VA, Martinsburg, WV, or Charles Town, WV. I'm also the founder of On the Money Books, LLC, which helps small businesses with bookkeeping and financial clarity — but Medicare is where my heart is.
I live locally with my wife and family, and our first granddaughter. When I'm not working, I'm likely reading, golfing, or enjoying family time at home. If you're looking for someone who will take the time to get to know you, explain your options in plain English, and be there for you year after year — I'd love to help.
